Thanks for taking us on a tour of this awesome show. It sure is nice breakaway form minus 20 and about 3 feet of the white stuff. Larry

  25. WOW !!!!!!!

The SLVER BULLET dragster made it to California.. An impressive task by the original owner/builder.

I bought this dragster in 1999 at a swap meet in Canada..Had it for 9 YEARS before we sold it back to the Owner/Builder about 2 years ago. Stan Johnson of Wisconsin.
When I found it,all i had was a chassis and a body. Found a pile of the original parts in a junk yard about 5 years ago.

Please drop by and say HI to Stan..He will be the guy with a smile from EAR to EAR !!!

Who better to restore this car, than the original builder..only 45+ years later..
GREAT job rebuilding the ole girl.
And THANK You for posting a picture..you made my day !!!!

    Rick Proctor

That's awesome Rick. That car needed that kind of treatment. Congrats to Stan for a beautiful restoration.

Great pics - I'll be there for the opening unless US Air screws up again. Got stranded in Phoenix last night.
