Wow! Some great photos. Also, anybody have some extra pieces that go behind the headlight bucket. There's an upper and lower piece of metal that fills the void. Thanks. Here's some old pics of my Pontiac back in 2009, still running strong as a daily.

You are correct. Nobody makes shit for them.. I' can tell you about my '60 convert back in 1965. First off no pictures (burnt in house fire), I took the stock tail lights and recessed them in about 18'' by using scavenger tipped tailpipes (4). Used the stock taillight bezels ( catalina ) and made a stand to hold them in position.( looked like flame throwers when you hit the brakes)
Stock dash ( white and blue fogged edges) ,except for a 1965 Grand Prix ( big bullet style) console tach mounted sideways on the left next to the dash (spin the tach face so you can read it)
Interior: Royal blue Metalflake roll and pleat, with matching steering wheel.
Grille: tube grill with 68 baraccuda directional lights added later
Paint: '66 corvette marina blue ,full length lakers and chrome reversed rims with spider lugs
The car was so wide you could lay across the front seat @ lovers lane
Best time at the track was 14:9, Single four barrel
Great fun, it was my first, Still miss it. Boston area car guys will remember it, I drove the wheels off !!!!!!

Here is a Laurentian that was originally a 261ci inline 6 that is now possibly going to see a 409 / 4 spd Muncie combination... Nothin is really happenin yet. So far i am just accumulating parts and thinkin things over ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1444962782.964866.jpg

Here is a Laurentian that was originally a 261ci inline 6 and a 2 spd power glide that will remain with the original equipment... ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1444963709.763135.jpg

  11. Damn, same color as mine, paint even seems to have gone flat like mine did.

Because of the wide track and long wheelbase, these things handle like a slot car.

looking good! really like the rake... any plans?

  18. I have a 348/4spd setup for it but it runs so well with the 261/3spd combo that I think that for now I'll most likely just leave it alone. It has 47670 original miles, original paint and interior is near perfect. In the Pic's the car is filthy and grimy as purchased, I've started to buff the paint out and from I'm seeing so far it will come out looking fantastic with a few very minor paint touch-ups here and there. The rake is caused by 285-70-15's and 205-70-14's other than that car is totally stock. I'll add more photo's once I finish detailing it.

That looks like a very well-optioned Laurentian with the back-up lites and the passenger side mirror. Nice car!
