This thread seems to have quieted down a bit, so I'll throw this out there. I recently aquired this '58 Seville and another '58 Series 62 ragtop from my father-in-laws 'estate'. While he is still with us, unfortunately, he is not longer in shape to work on these. The goal is just to get them running and driving a enjoy the Seville as is. Hopefully get the old WWII vet out for some rides. It's not like an Eldo needs much customizing anyway! Scott
Here are a couple of pics of the Series 62 i just got. Obviously, there is some ***embly required! It already has gold Sabre wheels on it and it came with an Eldo 3 x 2 carb setup to install some day. First order of business is to get it back together, running and driving.
wow, nice cars. really diggin' that ragtop. get 'em going and take your F I L out for a cruise, best of luck.
As I was going through this thread of amazing beautiful Cads, I came across the 60 Eldorado brougham a few pages back and a small discussion on the windshield of that model (used only for 59/60 broughams and very few made). What would a windshield cost for one of those if you could even find one?
I am building a 53 Coupe DeVille , stumbled upon 5 original Kelsey-Hayes wires that this guy had restored in 1996 by Dayton with polished Stainless spokes. still in the Boxes , bought all 5 for a Thousand .the fifth wheel was located and sent in for restore a couple months after the four, is why one inner is not painted........ I am grinnin
