I'm asking because I'm toying with the idea of selling the three I have or waiting a good portion of a life time to find a fourth one.

I could use the cash at the moment to help finish a current project so it is tempting.

    What do you think?

Bolt pattern is 5 on 5.5" and they are 18" tall. I need to measure the width.

As to who is repoping them, I would like to know myself.

what do i think? well you asked!

i think you should just come up with an asking price(and put this ad in the classifieds)and see if you get any bites. posts like this are why they have strict posting rules in the classified section, to avoid things like private bidding wars. that's what ebay is for.

so i'd give ya about $20 for them. just in case you're playing "low-bidder wins cause i'm a nice guy".

I think that if you are a trad hot rodder and stick to history, you are lucky. 'cause you can sell one of 'em.

They where mainly used out back to accept the 18" retired Indy tyres when gearing up the car for lakes use.
NOT because they where considered good-looking or anything.

In my eyes they are ugly as he... but that is my PERSONAL opinion.

Trade one for a pair of old Indy tyres :) then go racing.

Av8 rider is quite right, but if i had four id run them.

I cant believe you are giving up so easily.Three in the bag?

that last one is within two hundred miles of you, and it will cost you less than the other three.,i know it sounds hippy...but ive always found the parts i really NEED by just visualising them..i guess it focuses your attention and lets you be creative about your searching techniques.

jeez i sound like a new age rodder

I found my rear wheels, and near perfect rear tyres about a week after i learnt on here that dodge/international pick ups had wheels identical in shape to 40-48 fords, but with a later ford pattern...the old panel van they were on had TWO spares so the guy wasnt even fussed to take em off!I just happened to drive past this thing and saw them out the corner of my eye..and these trucks are not that common down here.

I know divco wheels are rare...but they aint impossible rare, they were a production item after all, not a handmade low volume part like say ardun heads..dont give up.
OR sell me the three and Ill pick em up in January.

Id love to Know what offers youve got already...... :D

If you realy want something like this I'd do an automatic search on eBay.
I have never gone wrong. Always find what I need.

Well I need to thank everybody for their input. I have received many, many emails regarding selling my wheels. I am still undecided but hope to have an answer for all those who have inquired within the next week.

    Thanks again,

  19. I have a friend (Hi Dave) whom dug up 3 in an old junkyard, then after a couple years someone bought him one at a local swap meet thinking it looked familiar, I picked it up for him and reimbursed the gentleman $20 and could not believe how heavy it was (VERY HEAVY guage steel). Then he bought yet another single very recently from a well known old school speed equip manufacturer out of So Cal and once again I picked it up for him and could not believe how heavy it was... They are out there and affordable, keep your eyes open and ear to the ground...
