I prefer the original tank but if your looking for a new one Bob Drake or Vintique both offer a original style tank.

Just don't get a larger tank,,when mounted they look like a soggy baby diaper. HRP

I'm using a TANKS original style on my sedan project. Seems to have good fit and finish. Whatever you choose, look for a HAMB vendor who offers one at a discount (I know RJay's shop does). Support the HAMB.

Absolutely Tanks. Used countless 11 and 14 gal units over the years with no problems.

I bought a new tanks. Wish I gotten the screw on cap with the o ring seal. My original style still sloshes gas out.

Bought a "TANKS" with original style cap. No sloshes or leaks on mine, love it.

I made a new, thicker gasket for my cap from some "Mr. Gasket" material I had lying around. Works great!

Well it's pretty clear the overwhelming majority of you guys prefer "Tanks" from Yogi and their prices are pretty reasonable. Thanks for your advice guys!

yeah, used to be Yogi's in Iowa was the place to order Tanks tanks from since the mfg never had what you wanted in stock. Now Yogi's owns Tanks so it's still the place to go.
