Sorry to post a bummer but I need your help. One of my best friends, Duke Epperson, his family needs to be on your prayer list. Jari (Dukes 22 year old Daughter) has a Heart condition that needs surgery to correct. Shes been putting the surgery off for some reason. This week shes starting to have heart problems again. The family needs some peace in their lives. I can't imagine the stress the Family is going through. Please keep the family in your Prayers. Thanks in advance, Mick
In our prayers & thoughts, I feel for her & the family as this is a very difficult time: God bless her.
I don't know why they are waiting. They took her to the Mayo Clinic and I know that she came back scared when she heard about surgery. Medication was helping the situation. They were told they have a 90% success rate with the procedure. I think they have Insurance because she is still living in Mom & Dads house. I'll try to find out more info tonight. Thanks again for the prayers Mick
They have got our prayers. The Mayo clinic is one of the best. I had a heart valve replacment 7 years ago. still going strong. It is amazing what they can do nowdays. sparky
If they are sending her to Mayo then it's more that just a regular heart problem. I have a heart problem and the local doc's can take care of it here. It's sad when young people have these kinds of problems. Our prayers go out to the girl and her family. Mick
I know exactly how she feels. I had open heart surgery when I was 23 for constrictive pericarditis. My pericardium was infected and started to calcify, essentially turning my pericardium into an egg shell around my heart. That was 17 years ago. I was scared at first, but I knew that if I were to pull through completely I had to have a living at***ude. Worry about living through it if you have to worry, the money will come. But I wouldn't worry since she is in the palm of God's hand.
They are a very active in youth ministry and a strong Christain Family. Local Docs sent her to Mayo to find the problem. Since they know what is, they have a local Dr. capable to do the procedure. Happy Trails, Mick
She will be in my thoughts and prayers for sure. I asked for the same a couple of months ago for my son and I'm happy to say he is doing fine. I hope this young girl outcome is as good.
I'll add mine to the many on this HAMB. Keep your chin up, there are many good souls on here. They have the Big Guy's ear. chili
