I recently picked up a 3 piece set of decent chrome windshield posts off an old boat in a trade. Has anyone ever used something like this? I was thinking about using them on a '29 roadster. I was wondering how much reinforcing it would take to keep 'em upright. There is quite a slant, so I don't think there would a lot of resistance. I also think I'm gonna drop the seat lower 'cause there ain't a lot of height there.

Better find out what the minimum legal windshield hight is in Michigan before you cut the glass.

  3. thru bolt them with a strap of thick backing plate material , and arch the top edge of the glass to get some more hight . should be ok , if ya like the look ,
