  2. Hey, it's a great early stock car body if nothing else. For one of those, you could make a set of doors out of flat tin and they don't have to open in the first place.

But I've always thought one of those would look good done fenderless as a rod, too.

  3. My 33 looks very similiar all cut up but I used a sedan door to replace most of the one butchered I got with it...

Your chev body is a 33 and appears to be a standard body.Although it is hard to see your rear fenders , master fenders bolt in from the top of the wheelwell and standard fenders have a return on them and bolt in thru the face of the wheelwell. The parts are out there but are getting pricey.I replaced the wood in mine with steel tube have ton of pictures if your interested

  5. You just have to want it bad enough. I made all the inner structure for my truck, but I'm stupid! Ha!

Hey I am on 33 chevys like Jeffery James on a 32 ford . Yep you have a 33 chevy if its a mercury it will be 2 1/2 " narrower than a standard I know because I own one .Get rid of the wood and build a chassis first to fit the car to

    here is a 35 5 window chevy l have.

right now no time for it. may sell it to someone so they can do something with it and not just sit forever.

l hate the ''gonna fix it someday'' and go back 10 years later and still sitting and rotting away.

    Later

  10. I agree do your best and build it. There are plenty of people here that can help you with measurements and other questions you may have. Old Chevys are cool!

I'd love to see those pics of the inner structure that you built. Please post , as most of us building these old Chevy's are deciding how to proceed or could use the input. Thanks. Anyone else have a Chevy Bowtie tattoo'd on their arm? Save the Chevy's.....

  12. Don't know how to tell you this... but, you don't have a '35. The last time Chevy made that square body style in a 5W was in '34.
