Whew!!! What a project. Just read the whole thread. A project of major proportions and the vision to see it through. I'm hoping for a LOT less to do on my 5w when the time comes. I'll keep up to date on your progress..........you're doing a great job. Frank
Thanks for good feedback. I have a lot work I'd like to get done over winter. I'd like to be driving it by mid summer.
Looks Killer. I think I read at the beginning of your thread you were going to plan a chop(maybe not)... At anyrate.... what a great journey... looks mighty fine.
I have decided not to chop this one. (Yet, I can always change my mind) I have another 32 5w that will be chopped when I build it.
Thanks guys. After seeing the body on the painted rolling frame, I got a little charged up, even though the body will come back off the frame for final body work and paint. It's a good thing winter is coming or I would be tempted to get it running as is...
I rolled the car out if the garage to stage a scene for my son's 5th birthday party invitation card photos. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Starting with my son's first birthday, we sent birthday party invitation cards to family and friends with him posed with various cars. It's now a 5 year tradition.
Starting to install the wood. Starting with the B pillar. Hope to get more done tomorrow. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Great thread. Awesome resurrection. The picture sitting under the tree is priceless. A before and after should be framed.
Johnny, your 3w looks mighty fine. Not much has happened on my 5w in a while. Spending way too much time at work, and my little shop heater isn't keeping up with this arctic winter. I do have the wood laid out and ready to go in.
