Projects 38 ford smoothy running board suggestions

Looking for a east coast or mid atlantic company that produces a quality smooth running board for my 38 Ford. Not interested in paying the shipping charges from the west coast.

I recovered the orginal boards with repop rubber coverings and do not like how they fit with the rubber covers.

Any and all advise appreciated.

 

Someone must have a suggestion as to where I can purchase quality smooth metal running boards.

 

I stripped all the old remaining rubber off mine, then put a layer of fiberglass cloth over the old metal board. A little work but so far it has lasted 30+ years.
