Got some of the halibrand knock offs (replicas) on my deuce . Would love to have some flat caps on the rear wheels kinda like the billet caps on your car C9, I also like the V8 caps you put on.
I passed on a set for 40 bucks because the width and 14 inch size just didn't fit anything I needed them for. They are kinda rare but you do see them out there for sale too, like I said the odd ball size really makes them almost useless. Maybe do a google search and see what comes up with a price.
I sold these 15x14 Ansen Slots last year. Cool but I don't have anything they would fit on. They look really cool on the new owners T-Bucket I also have this set of 15x8 front & 15x10 rear American Racing "Square Slots" with Chevy 4.75 bolt pattern. -Andy
I still miss that guy! Never met him, but he helped me out a lot, and was full of good info..man, a YEAR already???
Slot Mags on my Mazda 808 coupe - they are 13" and quite skinny. No markings. Anyone have an idea of brand? 1973 Mazda 808 Coupe by dave_7, on Flickr

I've been looking for some 15x14's with some deep backspacing. The my neighbor pulled up with his 31 coupe converted to pickup rocking his new slot mags. Now i guess i need to find a different look, hate to be a copycat.
Those can use the standard stainless "hotrod" rings. I've got a full set on my car that were only around $48 a set at my local "Hubcap World". They're all over Fleabay just search "hotrod rings". http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/14-C...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
I just got these today. 15 x 4 1/2" wide uni-lugs with a really nice pair of 5.60-15 bias ply tires. The wheels have been sitting since the mid 70's:
Nice score! I remember when people used to give me slots, they wanted the new fancy billet rims. Now 15 x 3.5 and 15 x 4 and 4.5's width slots bring premium prices. Glad I got my stash.
I love the old slotted mags too! I'm running old ET 15"x8.5" slots on the rear and 15"x3.5" fronts. Found an old set of knockoff style caps for them to dress things up a bit:
It's nice to see a thread started by C9. The cool thing is that he is still sharing his wisdom with us even though he's gone.
I thought I would add to this thread, spotted these on craig'slist , 16 X 10 with multi bolt pattern. I have never seen this style before.
I have a pair of 15x7, 5 on 5" wheels that maybe someone can help me I.D. Markings are: "15x7, MAX WHEEL LOAD 1680 LBS, MADE IN MEXICO, MEETS SEMA SPECS 5.1". They are very nice and seem to be much nicer than the E-T IVs that I also have. I've attached additional photos and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Rare Wheels and slicks. Both are NOS. Does anybody know who made these wheels. Wheels are 16x10 . 5 on 5" and 5 on 5 1/2" bolt patterns.
Probly U.S. wheels they look exactly like the ones I have only mine are 15 x 8 1/2 and no markings on mine either Chrome don't get ya home
I have about 12 Ansens slots in stock. The all say Ansen on the back. The casting of these wheels are thicker than most.
I have owned a few pair of 16x10 aluminum slots. None had markings. The almighty Weasel (Guido) was quoted on this thread as saying: Really rare but Ansen also made 16s - that straight from the proverbial horse's mouth - Louie Senter.... Continued: If you had checked my earlier post, you will see that I mentioned that Ansen made 16s - notably 16 x 10 and this was an answer to a question I posed to some guy by the name of Louie Senter when we were going through old photos at his home four years ago. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=527739&highlight=ansen+sprints One of my pairs:
Never really thought much about these wheels until I decided I'd like to have a set on my Econoline. I'm looking for a set of 15 x 6" (or so) with a 4.5" bolt pattern and a relatively centered offset. JH
These wheels have 3/4" spacer cast on the back of the wheels. That area can be milled for more backspace.
