Just curious...what is the origin of H.A.M.B.?

How did this name come into being? Is it an acronym for something else? And, how long has it been in existence? Thanks in advance...

I seem to recall a post Ryan did about starting the Hamb back when he was in College. HRP

 

Whats the story?

 

I read that it just started as the jalopy journal. Folks started h***ling Ryan to open up a forum, or message board, he eventually did and announced "here is your hokey *** message board" and the name stuck. Unintentionally.I was knee high to a gl*** pack then and don't know for sure, just read it somewhere...
