I am now trying to align the front end on my 26 T coupe. I have it installed and centered and aligned square with the frame centerline. I was just about ready to weld the 4 bar brackets to the frame and decided to check the caster before I tacked it up. I find the left caster to be 6.3* and the right to be 6.8* I was using a digital level and the machined surface of the king pin boss. After finding this difference I installed the king pins and checked on top of the king pins. Same story- about 1/2* side to side difference. Apparently the axle is slightly twisted (brand new). I have induced no twist while installing the axle.
What will this do to the handling of the car? Should I be worried? I can probably twist it with the 4 bar links, but don't really want to do this.
    Thanks.

It will be fine. Don't try to split the atom here. There is always a slight diff. in axles, new and old!

That's mocked up. I'd tighten a few more things down before checking caster.
