The original SP tops were produced by Al Sharp and Gordon Pilkington. Sharp/Pilkington = SP Sometimes confused as Scott tops- as Gene Scott re-popped them as well... and then there are the sand cast versions that are really bad- They don't flow as well as the stock tops with the choke- but they look so damn cool.... The original ones seem to be getting more and more like unobtainium, the six I have for my roadster I bought from Moriairty and were pretty hammered up- I feel lucky he even decided to part with them. I sanded them to the point where they look pretty damn good but the logos are polished pretty thin- I was holding out for Wilcap to remake them but I'm pretty sure that back burners been turned off- Does anyone have a picture of the original packing they came in? I've always been curious- I've seen some people post that they had some in the original box... just curious what that looked like? I love NOS packaging- its so cool- the fonts- the colors- the styling- If anyone has a pic please post- Thanks, Tuck
