Pat Garlits passes

Maybe I'm a little late on this but I just seen where Don Garlits wife Pat p***ed away.Prayers to the family.

 

Say it ain't so! Prayers up.

 

Live around 75 miles away and never knew this.
Our prayers are also with the family.

Just saw that on the NHRA website. Sad to hear. Meet her at the museum in 1985, and later at a IHRA race in Scribner. Very nice lady

Very sad, she was with him thoughout his drag racing career, she was the one who insisted he wear a jacket instead of a t-shirt before that terrible fire at Chester, he said otherwise he would have died......sympathies to Don and the whole family.

 

Very sad. I allways heard she was a real nice Lady! Prayers go out to Don and his family.

I don't know a more devoted couple. This is truly sad.

I met Pat in 1964 at Thompson Raceway in Ohio. She was selling T-shirts out of the back of Don's pickup. Very nice lady. I wish I still had the T-shirt.
My prayers are with you Don and your girls. RIP

 

She can rest now. My condolences to Don.
