Early ford parts interchange manual. If you want to know what goes where,or what axles fit what housings, trannys, motors, you name it up to 48? I think ,this is the book to have, not cheap new is110$ have seen them on hamb, and fordbarn for 80$ try a search.tons of info you can't get anywhere, even here!
Try Faxon's for a manual, (800) 458-2734, http://www.faxonautoliterature.com. They used to be the cheapest place. Remember that this is a manual designed to be used by the parts department at Ford to supply parts to the mechanics and not a restoration manual. It is not a "how to" manual for the mechanics. The "Green Bible" was the "Ford Chassis Parts and Accessories Catalogue" and was the bible for the parts man at Ford dealerships. The final issue was November 1950 and had a green cover (hence the name). Earlier issues had other color covers. It covered '28-'48 cars and '28-'47 trucks. Definitely not a "how to" book but good to have. Best place to buy used to be Faxon's (800) 458-2734, http://www.faxonautoliterature.com. Charlie Stephens
