I am new to the forum. Just starting my fifth frame up renovation, this time a 1918 Chevy 490 touring convertible . . Would love to "talk" to somebody who has one, has renovated one, and so forth . . . anybody out there with some expertise they want to share ? ? ?

You might want to check over on Stovebolt.com to see if you can find a specific Chevrolet resto forum somewhere.

I don't think you'll find many restored early Chevy's here. Speedsters maybe.

The boys on the VCCA forum will be very happy to help you out with this. They know a thing or two about pre-GM Chevy (although it being a 1918 model, technically this could be a 'merger' car). Regardless, the little OHV four powered Chevy of the day gave Ford plenty to worry about so it's well worth the effort. Good luck with it mate.
