Contrary to my rockabilly lifestyle, ;) hahaha, I have TONS of Van Halen bootleg stuff, including the US festival video AND a double album of that show with a ******* chick on the back cover that if you didn't know better, you would SWEAR it was Valerie Bertinelli!! That was like finding GOLD when I was 16.

As for the Foose on the tailgate, it's ADVERTISING making the whole truck a TAX WRITE OFF. How hard is that to comprehend? Not only that, he is proud of what he has accomplished. As he should be.

Now I'm sorry I even posted this thread. You guys are right, Foose couldn't inspire anybody and that truck would look alot cooler with John Deere Blitz Black, somebodys gas station logo on the door and mix and match junkyard wheels and tires. What the **** was I thinking?

That truck is very interesting, about as interesting as watching weeds grow. No wait, that's too interesting, how about watching oak trees grow?

Dude, no offense, but you're mixing and subsequently disrespecting metal eras, if you can go so far as calling Whiskey-era VH and UFO for that matter "metal". Well, if Jethro Tull can be considered metal, then maybe I'm wrong. No, I'm not. That's like comparing Faster *****cat to Mott the Hoople. OK, maybe not, but you get the ill comparison. If you were old enough to be at the first US Festival w/o parental guidance, you know what I mean.

I was there too hangin out on sunset strip waiting to get into the Rainbow, Troubador and the Whiskey, hell even the Country Club out in Reseda and had to throw down a couple of times. Ya ever remmeber the FM station in N. Hollywood on Lankershim? That was a tight spot to see bands play. It all goes togeher, rock, chicks and kool rides. Awwwwww, the good 'ol days. I miss them big hair band days! KNUX!

Chip IS one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Right up there with Gene Winfield and Troy Trepanier. I am always happy to see them and vice versa. I don't love what Chip builds but there's no one more talented overall than that guy. Some can draw, some can build. He does both better than just about anybody.

As for the truck...yep, Chip was Overhauled. I was one of only about 6 people who were standing there when it was unveiled that knew the secret. He was genuinely suprised and touched. He bought the truck from his dad when he was 14 and even learned to drive in it...smashing the grille of a Rolls Royce in the process. They found his sketches for the truck and used them for the build.

Please Overhaul one of my projects! (without billet please)

It is unbelieveable the amount of jeolousy and disrespect that goes on here. I saw that truck last week at sema and it was a nice truck sure the wheels are a not traditional. With as ******** as some idiots are why are there tattoos color that is not period correct.
Sam Foose can do work I could only dream about. That guy has some talent.

I think the guys with true talent that have made it get more **** then the guys who got lucky and sell lots of T shirts. I have not been to the mall since last christmas but i don't see Foose shirts at walmart yet.

If you are going to put down some one elses work, you better show your pile o **** before you bad about some one else.

Oh so you are car does not run yet but when it does.

  18. your about as bright as your avatar.

the truck looks great. the amount of detail that probably have gone in it can never be shown in 2 pictures. I just found the sticker/ decal/ low relief on the back a might bit "ego-ish" albieght it turned out that his father executed it. but the mr. foose has done a brilliant job in designing great look equipment, i wish i had half the skill in just one of his pinky's.

Easy, lead. For the most part, there isn't an individual on here that could match that Shoebox, let alone any Sam creation, so using that as ammunition against the **** flurry is a disadvantage. While most flingers don't have ground to stand on, the mere fact that Chip's on TV automatically paints a bullseye on his stature for any and all haters to take aim at. The true talent of both Foo***** can't be denied, period.

Hey, are you guy's going to stay on topic or what?>>>>>

drama and jealousy = Majority of HAMB>>>> go ahead kick me off. this **** just gets old and tired...

If you guys would put as much effort into working on hot rods and being friends with real people other than tag names on a computer. You too might build something fun and cool to drive. You all want to claim yourself as traditional but, your on damn internet ALL day, messaging drama back and fourth. Go hang out with your friends in a garage, talk ********, work... whatever.. That's how it USED to be. You don't like technology, then what the hell are you doing on here? And of course here you can't speak your mind, cause like me you will get kicked off. Unless these exact words were coming from a lifer with 10,000 post's whoo hoo give him a party... Then you get booted. My life is great, I am not pissed, not in a bad mood. But seeing this same **** day after just makes me laugh at what the HAMB is SUPPOSED to be as i have been told over and over.

You gentleman and ladies enjoy your evening, your winter.. Maybe I will see you in the spring in hot rod or maybe you'll still be here on your computer.. That is entirely up to you..

    Enjoy, Always Enjoy...
