The paint job ,was done in our garage at home by my dad ,the paint was 2 cases of j,c.whitney laquer spray cans that he applied w patience .than rubbed each panel by hand . That paint job won him numerous 6 foot tall Best of Paint trophies.
John, Welcome to the HAMB, most likely I saw your Dad's Roadster at the NY Coliseum back in 1964. My Dad would bring me to that show, wonder if I have any photos of the car, if I can find them I'll post them. Bob

The Beach Boys played the SEMA dinner at the Las Vegas Hilton years ago and it was one of the few gigs that had Brian on the stage for half the program. Being SEMA, the stage had half a dozen deuces around the dance floor.
FWIW, the cover of the Shut Down Volume 2 album featured a Corvette owned by Dennis and a '64 Pontiac Grand Prix owned by Carl.
