Im looking for some more info on Putting a 41 chevy on a s10 frame. i know about the wheelbase and the kick outs on the frame needing cut and boxed. Ive started buy cutting the outside of the frame kickouts so the frame is straight "havent boxed it in yet" Ive set the body on the frame and ill looks like it will need a hair more to sit flat on the frame rails.

    TIA

I think you may have the wrong forum for this project.

HINT: S10 is taboo in this forum.

Have you ever watched the movie Deliverance with Ned Beaty? The other characters belong to this forum. When they say 'Run' then you best haul ass.

  6. Hey liftedsilvy I've worked on several 41 Chevy trucks, Check out my albums. I'm willing to give you pointers on what I found out. Some guys on here get there noses pushed out of joint when you mention S-10, not me. Yes I've worked with them but have a better way of making a cool hot rod truck by going a different route.

  7. Hey liftedsilvy, some of these guys on here get there noses pushed out of shape, but there's "novadude55" on here, great guy, he has posted lots of build photos on what to do. He used an S-10 frame under his 41.
I have 5 of these 41-46 Chevy trucks. I use the Isuzu Rodeo, and trooper frames as well as Honda Passports. Take a look at my albums, I can give you lots of pointers on what to do. I believe the Isuzu chassis is easier than the S-10.

No,they are just stating Ryans rules.

Now if our new friend would do a search for S-10 I'm sure he will find all the information has been posted in the past and as you know is considered OFF TOPIC now. HRP

Thanks guys I have searched and read all the posts from nova Dued and a lot of crustys posts. The last few days I've got the body to fit nice. Narrowed the frame and working on moving the axle back. Ill post pics ASAP! What's the big deal about putting it on a s10?
