PISTONS AND PAINT! The One Week Countdown!

Ok, well, I got some good news and some bad news.

Good news first- My Caddy is a few hours of work away from a fresh coat of primer.

Bad news- I got to shot it saturday, cause of rain (too much bare metal showin to leave in the rain), and my dad said he wants to shoot it that day so it will be done by my b-day party.

So this means I won't be at the car show, but if I get the car shoot in time I might show up for the nite festivities, we'll see how it goes. Triyin to get Brian to say that if I get the car done he'll go with me and help pay for gas (damn boy never knows what he wants to do).

Let me get this straight....You can make a top fuel funny-car out of a
Porta-Poddy for Jesse James in 5 days, but you can't get a little primer on the Caddy for P-n-P.... geez Mike, it's all about PRIORITIES!!!!

Well, I'm a show sander, and I'm acually makin my car halfway straight down the side. Been blockin it and bondo'n the shit out of it. That fuck'n car is big, I'm tried of sandin on it but can't stop now. Should have never fixed that first dent!

 

SOunds like there is going to be a lot of HAMB people there to meet. Ill be stuck at my booth but you can always come by and say hi, and bring me a beer!!!!!!!!!

 

I'm all amped up. Funny thing is I snatched a work shirt from the closet this morning and it's last years P&P STAFF shirt, haha.

There might be a few of us arkansas people there but we will be in the late models. Sucks but my car needs some work and I don't have the gas $$$ to drive it down there since we just got back from the sherman show.

The wife and I will be coming down sat morn early. Hubnut and mike I think are coming down the same time in his latemodel to. Maybe next year we can bring one of our cars down there. And the rest of us will show to. I'll try and wear my hamb shirt since nobody will recognize us with out the 60 hehe...

Papa Toot, Lil' Toot's dad died last night.

This is especially hard on Toot as his family is the tightest I've ever seen.

Monkey, myself and a few others have decided to hang back and be available for whatever support the Toot family may need.

anyone know where i can get directions on how to get there from I-35 or from 156? i saw the map at the first of this post it didnt really help.
