My name is Katherine Morris and I am an old friend of Steve Stanfords. My Brother , Sean Morris and I are in the first stages of finally bringing you what you have been waiting for. We are working on getting a Steve Stanford website and limited edition , signed, numbered prints. We started a Facebook page for him last night under Steve Stanford Designs and posted a few images of his rarely seen art. We have a lot more to share. Steve really appreciates all of your support. He spoke of your page yesterday and asked that I keep all of you guys in the loop. Your appreciation of him has not gone unnoticed, he may not own or use a computer but Steve is well aware of the kind words you guys have to say about him. Thank you all and please like us on Facebook. We appreciate feedback on what you would like to see, while we begin design work on his website. Steve wants to know what car you would like the first print of, we are taking everyones ideas into consideration before he makes the final decision. There will be only 100 prints made of the first edition. Katherine Morris
Steve is also an old friend of mine, and one of the nicest & most talented illustrator's to ever pick up a pen & brush and apply them to paper, canvas, or, metal ! Like me, he's an old "St. Louis Boy"...and his artwork always forges new ground. His creative juices flow 24/7/365 and it shows in every line of his work ! His stories from our Interview sessions always are a**** the most viewed/listened to on the Hall Of Fame Legends Series...everyone loves the guy World Wide ! Glad to have you representing him here at the H.A.M.B. Jonnie www.legends.thewwbc.net
Oh great! Thank you Catherine.. All the '58's , primered '49 Olds & '32 3W. Was there a Corvair "T'? Steve, I followed your style from the 70's- and run with it these days in Photoshop. Thanks for the inspiration, all the way from outback newstands 40 years of yore..
Katherine, Thanks for what you have done. I have always felt that Steve is the BEST artist of Custom Cars EVER. I built my '51 Chevy, Smoothie (used for my Avatar), based on a drawing that Steve did shown in the June 1995 issue of Rod & Custom. Steve's drawing was a 1954 Chevy Bel Air 2-door sedan with a '51 Fastback roof; I started with a '51 Fastback and added '54 rear fenders and taillights. After meeting Steve at 2008 KKOA Leadsled (Salina), I had him do an original rendering of my car, with his original in the background. Augie Holtkort Carrollton TX
