Projects 40 Ford pick up. Chop

    Just got my truck back from getting a chop. Took out 3.5" from cab and took 1.5" out of from rear window to retain a good amount of view but keep it proportion. Now comes the finish welding and on with the build.

    looks really good. I'm planning on doing the same to the rear on my 40. did you run into any problems with the chop? how much did you have to add on the roof?

    Added about 1.5" to the top to even it all out. It took a bit to get it right but I'm happy with it now. And yes the real work starts now!

    Looks good,I took 3" front and back out of mine I like the mail slot window. I leaned the A pillar back I didn't want to mess with adding a strip in the middle of the cab.Keep up the good work.
