I jsut got a motor last week and my wife bought me a transmission last month so I think it's time to get going on it!! Give me a call I'll stop by and fix it for you.

36 Ford Fordor. Funny story my inlaws got divorced and I ended up with the car...I'm still not sure how that happened ?!?

How about if I get the rolling chassis done this winter??

Man, are you lucky or what, your wife buys you a trans, you don't have to go to the inlaws for Sunday dinner anymore, and they kick in a hot rod just for good measure, better start buying lottery tickets. JimM

Spoke with my buddy Bob T. today about this. The word is getting out there. I can't wait for this even. Sounds like it's going to be a good one. Please keep us posted.

I used to mow my grandmothers lawn on Sunday morning and hitch-hike to Connecticut Dragway, I'd catch a ride home from one of the fine folks who attended the event. Never thought twice about it, I was 12-13, how times have changed, I remember when top fuel would take the money home if they broke the 7 second mark. The labor day Funnycar event was always well attended.......

I'm from the town formally known as Chatham.

Any of you Connecticut Hot Rodders recognize this car?
Its 1952 Willys Aero Gasser, was supposedly stomping around CT in the 60, 70's, & 80's.
Just trying to get some history on it, have been unsuccessful in finding the owner that built it as a gasser in the 60's.
    Thanks for your time,

I'm visiting Greenwich/Stamford Conn in May this year. My Wife and I will be staying with family, and as this is my Wifes first trip to the US we will be doing the whole NYC sightseeing thing etc.
Question is................ can anyone recommend a descent local Hot Rod - Speed-shop? As I would quite like to do some shopping for my 28 trad 'A' roadster!!
We our flying out from the UK end of May 2014 - anyone have any suggestions?
