Bell housing identification

Hi....I have a bell housing that I am wondering if anyone could identify.. The casing is stamped "AJ 6394 C"...What does it belong on ?Thanks,John in CT

 

6394c is a Ford bellhousing but are you sure about the AJ numbers.

 

Brad....what makes you think it is a Ford number....all my books show the Ford bell-housings to be #6392 not #6394...I just double checked and it is ...AJ 6394 C...........John in CT

If you have the bottom, the starter cup, and the clutch arm, you have a nice part.

 

Agreed, this Ford stuff is not easy to find!

 

I checked tonight to see what I had and I do have the starter cup,bottom pan,clutch arm,flywheel and pressure plate,clutch plate,throwout bearing,and bearing retainer and a 3 speed with overdrive tranny with a govenor and solenoid ...bought it all at one time a few years back thinking someday I might use it....haven`t yet...John in CT
