...has the perfect stance. I think it belongs to a hambr. I seem to remember someone here talking about it in a thread once. I've looked in the channeled rod thread and the east coast threads, etc. I found these 3 pics after searching 2 hours...who of you knows this coupe? Need more pics too...purdy please.

That looks great to me too and I typically don't like a 3W as much as a 5W- Love it.

I think that '32 belongs to "Kidrocker" on here. Good looking car. I just saw it has been put back up on top its frame. Another old channel ride gone.

I like it either way but the channeled version reminds me of one of the first hot rods I actually saw on the street up close and personal when I was in my early teens and had only seen hot rods in indoor shows before that.

He was right, enjoy writing YOUR chapter in the car's history. Can't wait to see it.

That is a point that all too many guys miss all too often. The car wasn't an old surviving major show winner or race winner, nor actually a build by one of "thee" builders of the past that was still in as built in 1954 condition plus 50 years of use showing on it. That it was in someways quite suspect as far as construction goes gives one reason enough to do a full redo on it and build it into something he can drive and enjoy, hopefully for a long time to come.

We will expect to see the occasional photo of it on the road to cool places or parked at cool places on one of it's road trips though.

Channeled cars look great from the outside, but can be a real pain to drive. When they also get chopped, you have to be a midget to drive them. If you own it, but can't drive it with comfort, it doesn't fulfill the promise.

Last summer I walked away from my dream car, a '32 5W. But, with a chop and full channel I could not sit in it, let alone drive it. Not willing to go through the expense and effort to unchannel it despite the sub-20k purchase price (running and driving but needing love), I reluctantly p***ed.

Kid Rocker, at first I was very disappointed to see the car had been unchanneled. I did like the look better before, but I have to respect your reasons for doing it. The fact that you put a Caddy back in it and are going to drive it daily makes it A o.k. in my book.

This 32 was purchased from a fellow HAMBr a few years ago. It came from the Fresno area and was NHRA legal at one time. Does anyone have any history on this 32?

I don't hate you they look better when there not channeled, I plan doing the same to this one with a 5" chop + a 5" channel it needs more room in the cab
