Hey Like to introduce myself, my name is Robert. I have been lurking for a while now, and hope I can learn some more from you guys. I have been in to hot rods and Harleys since I was a kid. At this time I have 1956 chevy truck that is just about finished. And a 1931 ford 5 window coupe body only, but I am lucky to have a H.A.M.B. member (dirty2) helping me. Hope to have some pic of the 31 and 56 soon.
welcome! I saw your coupe at Dirty2s hideout. You couldn't have a better guy helping you with your coupe.
Hope to meet all you guy's soon. And I know I am in good hands, just look at *****in ride he has got!
I hope to learn from Dirty2, but as you well know he said he is not a good teacher!!!! You know it's his way or the highway. HaHa
Well about the chop, I am not sure. I think it's 6 or 8 inchs, I just got the car a few days ago from a older hot rodder guy that did the chop back in 1958. He really did not want to sell it but finally did. LUCKY ME!! Hope to have it on the road soon, but you know how long it can take to do that. Thanks
Just like any other rod or custom shop out there. It costs money and time is money. It would cost more money to teach and show you something. It is easier to tell your vision of your project and let the builder do it. Stick with the plan and let the builder build it. Be patient though, it will get done, just need to get your frame back
You are right about that, I just want that frame HERE. Well just have to wait an dream alot. But now I can at least see at the end of the tunnel.
