I have a 32 five window which I purchased in Seattle in '63 (yes 50 years ago) and I'm trying to find out about it's pre '63 history. When I bought it it was in primer, was full fendered except that the rear fenders had been bobbed at the bottom of the trunk, the fuel tank was in the trunk, it had an early hemi with a '39 Ford box w/zepher gears, had the remnants of white roll and tuck interior with the same on the roof insert and had chromed diamond plate running boards. At some point in time it had a roll bar. Any of this sound familiar? Sorry, I only had a few photos of it and at this time I can't find them. BTW, right now it's at Industrial Chassis going through re-birth pangs... Thanks,

    bob
PS. Looks like it was red in a previous life. Any help? (Sorry, still no pics...)

Unable to find any of the few old pics I had of it. If they appear, I'll post them. Thanks...

  4. No photos most likely no help,,If you have had the car 50's years tracing history is like looking for that proverbial needle in the haystack.

But, I wish you luck. HRP

  6. Why did you wait 50 years to find the history?

Because life got busy and got in the way. Besides, as an eighteen year old kid I frankly didn't care about the history. Now that I'm trying to get it back on the road, I'm curious...

BTT. Anyone? It was a distinctive build. I've never seen another built like it. Thanks,

Realdeal32: Good luck with your search. I've been trying to track the history of my '32 prior to 1968 ever since my dad and I got her in 1972 to no avail. I haven't given up yet.
