Here is my contribution for this week, models by my best mate Marshie (FC59) Photobucket has fought me every inch of the way. Hope it works and hope that y'all enjoy. Rod
Well, that worked .......Couple of mine(but the 39 and the transporter are by Marshie) and one of mine for good luck Cheers Rod
Looks like while I was concentrating on P/B, I got my dates stuffed and went back 10 years. Have no clue how to change the title of this thread, perhaps some kind soul might put the correct date up for me ....... please Rod
Looks like Fonzie is visiting Adrian, TX! Is the seat on the primered shoebox covered with a Mexican blanket? Love it!
Built from the new Slingster kit, mostly to show some new detail items from Replicas & Miniatures Co. of Maryland. A few other items for this kit will be available VERY soon.
Great showing this week, guys! Here's a new one from me. Revell Snap-kit '34 Coupe. Started as a paint demo on spraying the white scallops on a dark blue car. Later added the orange metalflake, then the gold, to spice it up a bit. Testors wet-look clear on top. Wheels and tires from the Revell "Miss Deal" Stude drag car. Also cut off the rear mounted gas tank to get rid of the "loaded diaper" look. Aluminum tube tailpipes finish off the back end. The red car was built several years ago from the same kit. More here... http://public.fotki.com/Froghawk/34-ford-3-window/
These are all lookin' good. Froghawk, that's a beautiful mask-and-spray on the '34 -- not a trace of errors, edge build-up or anything. Lyle and Old Sprinter -- wonderful!
Good stuff as usual guys. i have never posted on this thread before as I am never sure if what I build are toys or models. Here goes, be gentle with me.
35cab, you're work is terrific! What size are those? Materials? Etc., etc.? I especially like the "gow job" T roadster.
I dont think I have ever posted these up on Sunday models, mainly because they are by no means current builds. But here is a couple I have had for a real long time. 36 Flat back that I built at minimum 25 years ago, but may be longer than that. A 56 Chevy 1 1/2 ton car carrier and a West Coast style Supermodified, built probably around 1995. And what I was supposed to build 1:1 after I quit racing, but my current roadster build has put this on hold indefinately. This is what "my hot rod" would look like...this too was built probably around 1993. These and others (off topic racecars and WW2 aircraft) are still in my show cabinet.
35Cab, great looking models. I especially like the Schenck streamliner, always been one of my favorites. These appear to be larger scale scratch built to me. I would also like to know what you used and how big. Any more shots of the Schenck and Miller? Thanks
