You're doing great don't let the vultures that circle to talk out of their ***es get you down. The 1%ers appreciate what you're trying and doing! It's a huge deal to chop your first car. I'm still mad at myself for selling mine in 1993 when I joined the Marines.

Haha Dont you hate that. In 93 I was just a little guy but that's not the point... point is that there is always one car that we wish we never would have gotten rid of. It doesn't even have to be a good car! Thanks for your encouraging words and your service.

As Mr.****ies said.. You are doing great. Keep up the good work. Don't sweat what others say.. UNLESS its a safety issue.

It was a ****py 52 Ford I paid $400 for ran like **** till my friend Doug figured out it was running on 4 of the 6 cylinders. Ran like a champ after that we chopped it in my friends garage and I drove it for a few weeks with no gl*** then a guy cut the gl*** for free for me because he said he loved it then I sold it to him when I left. It was flat white because someone gave me a gallon of base coat and I couldn't afford clear. I had to park around the corner because my parent thought it was Doug's car and complained it was at our house gettin the driveway dirty. My mom wanted my dad to sign the ***le of my Henry j over to me and he wouldn't because he knew it would get a v8 and more than likely be turned into a race car. I bought the HJ and it only took him 24 years to sign the ***le over to me. In the 24 years he drove it 56 miles. Now it's my sons car. But I will sign the ***le over to him on his 16th birthday so I have 13 years to finish it again.

Hey guys, haven't been able to work on the car much with work and my son still being in the hospital. So sorry no car updates. Son updates however... He is doing really good, off all breathing machines, still being fed with a feeding tube but getting there. He is not 3 pounds.

OK so I haven't been able to work on my car at all lately but that doesn't keep me from thinking about it. My question for you guys is... I have to make a trim around my windows since I cut the b pillar out. I have to build it so that I can mount a rubber divider between the two pieces of gl***. Any ideas or possible article/post that might show a good way of doing this?

Keep it up my friend. I admire a guy that jumps right in and builds his own. Tradition garage built style.

I also started a project for my friend/boss. It's more of thank you to him. He is that guy that will do whatever he can for you and his business. He has had the 1951 Ford cab and box now for probably going on 7 years. He has wanted to build it into a nice a easy rat rod, but can never bring him self to spend the money on him self. So I got the guys together and started planning the build without him. I'm hoping to complete the build without him finding out. Lol
I've got the beginning stages of the frame complete and am hoping to have a roller this weekend. I'm using a beer keg for the fuel tank and want to have a tap for a gas cap(undecided) I'm running oddly enough a Pontiac 350 and transmission. And building my own aluminum bomber seats.

Thanks dads. I've worked to better myself every car I do. I build them for a living. It's an amazing career one that's never gets old and one that you never stop learning in. I've built customer cars and have never been able to enjoy my own real build so that's what my Ford is all about. Then building the rat rod is just a big thank you to a great friend

I'm hoping to put some time into the shoebox this week. Would really like to get my top wrapped up.
