New Drive Inn Comming To Minnesota

The news is a couple days old but I just seen this. http://www.startribune.com/local/south/245881551.html It looks like Tom Ryan bought the screen from the old Cottage View Drive Inn after WALMART bought the property last year. It should be open by memorial day.

 

That's awesome!!! was kinda sad when cottage view closed down a couple years ago.

 

Yeah, especially because I never got to go to the movie before the Back To The 50's. but now maybe they'll have a place to do it again.

 

I thought they would've moved it to Lake Elmo drive in, wasn't it there last year? that would make the most sense since it's just a straight shot from the fairgrounds to east bound 94...

 

Cool! I'm only about 20 minutes away from the long prairy drive in, but a drive in next to a race track is even better. The drive down to it would be worth it on a race day

 

That is great news. It was a sad day when they decided to close the Cottage Grove Drive In for a Wally World of all God awful reasons. Hopefully the new owners are successful.
