I've been lurking here for way too long, so I decided it was time to jump aboard. I've been doing the hot rod thing for 30 years and have made every mistake possible at least 3 times. Metalwork is a passion. I built my own English Wheel 5 years ago for a total price of $100 and a lot of scrounged parts and favors from friends. Current project is a 1952 tudor Chev that I have so far chopped 5", built 5' long fender skirts (extended quarters) and recessed the rockers for lakers. Long term project is my beloved '32 3w (owned since '82). Waiting in the wings is a '32 5w, Vicky, '31 Vicky, '33 Cabriolet and other assorted junk. I quit my last car club 7 years ago due to the fact that there were too many conversations about plans for upcoming events and not enough guys making sparks and getting dirty. Phew... I hope this intro meets muster... Daryl
How's it going up there Tinman? I just joined myself and wanted to say hi from Texas. Metalshaping and bodywork is my thing, so i'll look forward to your posts.
Thanks for the welcome guys. If I can ever figure out the digital camera thing I hope to post some pics of the stuff I'm doing. Daryl
