Was going to show images of my new GMP 1/6th Ardun, but I will show it next week! I scanned some shots of a model I did of Jake's tub just after it was featured in American Rodder (many years ago) for a thread by TRJ. Geoff aka whodaky

Wow Fidgiter your stuff is awesome. I too attempted the '31 sedan, however mine isn't as good as yours. And the pic i haven't isn't the best, but you get the idea.

I built one a couple of years ago that I think looked pretty cool. Engine was the Lincoln mill out of an AMT '25 T kit.

I'm working on these two. They are Hubley diecasts. The coupe is almost done. I tried painting whitewalls on an extra tire, but it's still sticky two weeks later :(

I bought the tub in pieces for parts, roof was already whacked off, so I slapped it together with no fenders, running the banger, channeled it over the A frame, used the wire wheels, and put a cover over the back seat area. Still has the*****py, er, patina'ed black paint on it.

I'll bet you're using enamel for that.....go get some acrylic white paint, it will dry in under an hour and look a lot better. That enamel wont dry on the rubber tires.

I need to order some tires for my 57 chevy gasser,I restored a MPC spirit of 57 that I built in the mid 70s to be a 60s era gasser and its done except for getting the correct tires and rims and****embling. I got a AMT orange blossom special 37 chevy pulling truck that I am going to build like my 37 but I have to find a 41 chevy p/u kit to get a stock frame and suspension as the 37 kit I got was missing the frame and suspension. Any hobby shop or arts store, Michael's or Hobby Lobby will have it. Hell you can get it at wal mart. That coupe will look great with whitewalls, though it looks good as is too.

Thanks. Hard to tell in the pics but the rear fenders are bobbed. I gotta paint the top insert and running boards. Black or white, I can't decide. Need to put in the taillights and add some chrome, hubcaps, and trim.

In between trying to get a couple of other projects done, I shot some of that House of Kolors model paint from Wally World on my '31 Coupe... looks pretty nice.

BTW: This one'll have either pearl white or a lime gold top and interior.

    NEW ADDITION:
mocked it up with a deuce tube axle - the hemi block will match the body, but everything else will be chrome, I think.
