Here to announce that the All Deuces Run will be held May 31,2014. :)

We usually have 35 to 40 Deuces. Fiberglas or steel - - OHV or FLATHEAD - - Highboy or fenders ...original or hot rod it does not matter ... if it is a 32 Ford ... you are ... WELCOME :D
The run will leave From the Target Shopping Center at the NorthEast Corner of Interstate 77 and Hwy 73 ( Exit 25 off Interstate 77 ) in Cornelius promptly at 10 o'clock. The overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway provides a excellent place to stop, sight see and look at each others Deuce. It is a excellent photo opportunity. A lunch stop is planned at Canyons restaurant in Blowing Rock NC. Canyons has a large parking lot and a very scenic view of the Smokey Mountains. Plan to get out your chairs and relax for awhile.

Please invite your 32 Ford owner friends to join us.

OK guys, you can now officially mark your calendars..the date has been set for the Annual "All Deuce Run" through the Beautiful Blue Ridge mountains

May 31,2014 is the date,,we are still working out the details of where to stay if you arrive early for the Friday night get together and our dinning plans for that evening,,last year we went to the Lone Star and it was great,,we socialized in the parking lot for a hour or so before heading back to the motel.

We did this for the first time last year and it was a huge success,,we are still working out the details on overnight accommodations for folks that wish to come on Friday.

Here are some past threads covering the All Deuces Run.

These threads show that this is a driving event ... not a sit around in the shade gathering.

Exclusive Deuce. Good idea. (the only thing Deuce I've got is the frame & running gear...a '27 T body sits up top.)

    Short Deuce story:
In 1978, noted Calif. builder Harry Craycroft (Bay Area Roadsters member) went to the Nats, in his white Highboy roadster...when he pulled into the grounds, members of the hosting club quickly ******ed him into the Deuce Corral.
Harry and his p***enger thought, "Cool, great place to park..."
Noontime, they came back to the roadster only to find a less-than-welcoming committee waiting for them.
The Deuce Corral's overseers somehow inadvertently availed the hallowed ground to Harry's '31 Roadster on '32 rails! Harry laughingly moved his car to 'friendlier territory'...

That's about 850 miles, not too bad,you could come a few days early and check out the NASCAR museum and check out a few shops.

I'm planing a trip to Michigan for the '54 Ford convention which is about the same distance,,gonna try and emulate my old pal Randy and play Road Dog! :D HRP

I REALLY want to go to this. My brand new baby and her expenses will put a damper on this for a couple of years. I have two '32's that would love to take a road trip......

You guys have fun!! Please post a bunch of pics!!!

I'll stop by and send you guys off. Maybe since I'm so close ( a mile down the road) I'll have a little open garage morning from 7-9 with donuts and coffee before you guys head to Target if anyone is interested.
