    Hey y'all.

I'm trying to figure out if there's a difference in the steering systems for first gen Falcons with sixers and V8s. This Falcon is a mish-mash of different parts, so I can't just say, "It's a '61. Sixer stuff."

So I'm wondering if there's any differences in the steering links. If so, is it a difference in diameter?

I was originally told that the steering links on this 61 came off of a 65 V8 model. Yet I've been told lately that can't be true, as the 65 steering links won't fit the 60-63 ch***is.

    Thanks Mike,

It looks like I do Indeed have the 65 set up. There's a guy on Ebay that sends me a long message every time I list an error. I had this steering set up listed as fitting 60-65 models, since I believed it to be the 65 parts and I pulled them off a 61. He sent me a long message about how they couldn't be 65 parts, as then I wouldn't have been able to pull them off a 61 because they wouldn't fit. Just wanted to double check and make sure I had all my ducks in a row!

You wouldn't happen to have a picture of 60-62 control arms next to 63-65 control arms, would you? haha.

    Here's the parts I have.

The only difference in control arms are the size of the ball joints. Buy the later arms and you're good to go.
