Here's mine back in early mock up after the chop. It now has a "new" power plant and drivetrain.

 

Legendary signman Dan Shaw took the '29 a little closer to it's racing heritage with some period lettering.

 

Finally some forward progress!

Keith it is an early mustang tie rod end. It is offset both up and in. Put a small bend in the drag link. The pitman is a bend f1 type that excepts tierod end. Cycles through the suspension with out bump steer ( on the jacks anyway).

 

Oh and that is just a socket resting on the pitman nut. Easy to find there.

thanks for the reply, I have some bump steer issues and your set up got me thinking.....im running a 4'' drop with fenders, f1 box and shortened arm, but my steering arm has a joggle in it to get past the shock so the drag links at an angle... so your set up looks a way round it.....

No I haven't. I am using f1 shock mount, so the shock will have a little more lean to it and have a little more room. They are out for paint. I will have to check when I get them back.
