I stumbled upon this cool article today of the Kookie Kar vs. the Outhouse on Wheels on The Selvedge Yard's website. It's from 2009 and I'm not sure how I've never found it. Anyways, it's got some great photos of both Tommy's and Norm's T's, probably the 2 most influential T's out there. I always love to find old photos like this. It's a pretty good read. They also have some stuff on Dean Jeffries, Von Dutch and Ed Roth a**** others. Check it out. http://selvedgeyard.com/2009/05/24/the-great-1950s-t-bucket-rod-rivalry/
I dig this article too. All kinda of photos from the Santa Ana drags. Good stuff. http://selvedgeyard.com/2009/05/25/1950-1959-the-santa-ana-drag-strip-days-they-did-it-for-love/
^^^^Read it again.^^^^^ The PAINT is a 56 Dodge color. The car always had a Cad engine Edit; After reading both writeups, it obvious that the original article was plagiarized......poorly.
