I'm looking for a FITTED cover for my 1934 Chevrolet 3 window full fendered car. All I can seem to find is the general "one size fits many" covers, and I don't want that. Anybody got one or know where to get one? I had a California cover on my 68 chevelle that I just got rid of, and it fit very nice...but I don't want to wait three months for it either (which is almost what it took for that one). Any ideas?
I had two car covers from Cal.Car Co. about $279.00 each they lasted less than 18 months & rotted away to $%^& , the customer service flat out sucked,so do yourself a favor & get one from another car cover Co.
Had luck with a lightweight cover for a small minivan on e$%&. Just measure it out. Nice thing is that it goes all the way to the floor and covers the tires which most don't. Cost was $30 bucks or close. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Check Covercraft, I think they may make the covers for California Car cover. http://www.covercraft.com/
Years ago i had one made by Covercraft for my 33-3window chevy. I sent them all the dimensions of the car and the custom made one for me. They were even able to put a small pocket on the front of the hood for the eagle ornament on the grill shell. If you call them and ask for a 33-3window they should have the pattern in stock. My cover fits like a glove and hangs about 5 to 6 inches off the ground.(I will post some pics tonight and might be able to find the part number they sent me) Hope this helps.
Here are the pics. The part number is #3567. covercraft should have this on file. If I remember it only took a few weeks to arrive after I placed the order. As you can see it fits the shape of the car (not one of those one size fits all type). My 3 window has the factory roof height. if you chopped the car you might want to discuss with them changing the dimensions to fit better. hope this helps. I have included pictures of the pocket they installed to go over the eagle radiator cap. (see avatar pic)
