History Whats this off of???

Bought this on ebay because it said it was for a 41 chevy car. The picture didn't quite show that it was single chrome light piece. 41 chevy light lense is separate.

Anyway, trying to figure out what this came off of.

Help....

I would google GM products in the '38-'42 range to see if you can find out what it fit.

There is a NOS '41 license plate light on eBay right now for a mere $350!

It's an upside down license plate lite.. 41 Chevy.

 

Looks like some kinda sex toy to me. ???

 

I updated the pictures so you can see that it is all one piece. The 41 chevy has a separate chrome piece that goes over the lense and has a set screw that holds it on. I have looked on google and ebay to see what it might be.....help.

 

Update....found out it is off of a 1941 Hudson.....

Liked the sex toy idea though....
