Porter Ferguson body shop cart...30's, '40's, '50's?

    I have searched online for an hour and I can't find ANY info on this little cart I just found. Anyone know anything about it?...how old is it? It's cooler than ****...art deco..ish.

    The tool that is patented doesn't necessarily tell when the cart was made..but the newest patent is probably from just a few years before it was made. So, figure around the time of the war...or just before, or after.

    patent search only revealed the date that a tool was filed for, and that was 1940, so they probably built this cart then to house the tool? So it's 1940ish.

    That's very cool.
    I'd build in a propane grill on top with a mini fridge underneath, for garage get togethers.

    Got 1 just like it Larry,
    My dad probably bought it right after WW2, when he opened his body shop.
    Still have all the pumps, rams and accy's in it also.
    Just used it last week on a little pushin on a frame rail I had 2 tweek.

    They originally came with several rams... Including a unique pull ram with several different forged steel s****s for getting into tight areas....also two heavy forged steel frame flange tools. I used the flange tools just last week at the collision shop I work for...The other guys call 'em " Old Man Tools" but damn, they still ask to borrow them!!
