Sad to loose Tom. But he lived a long productive life, and was loved by many. I've known Tom for about 30 years, and my life is richer for it. Goodbye Stroker, say hi to Johnny Price for me.

This is very sad. Can't say I knew him, but did get to meet him in 1976. A prince of a guy.
Stroker must have a tear in his eye tonight.

Sad news indeed :( ... but as it has already been said, he lived a long & productive life ... and made a big impact on this hobby of ours!

I last spoke with Tom at the 2012 Goodguys West Coast Nats ... and shot this pic of him imparting some of his wisdom on a young rodder:

This "photo-op" reminded me of the time I first met Mr. Medley (in '70s when I was "just a kid") ... He wasn't even talking about Hot Rods or the magazine biz but rather told me about a fishing trip from which he (& Tex) had just returned ... I just listened! ... He was one of the nicest "down to earth" men I ever met ... really left an impression on me!

    RIP Mr. Medley ......
