The car was featured in the January 1966 Popular Customs magazine.

Also look for some pics of Lee Pratt's Buick custom built in the eighties.
I don't recall if it was a Wildcat. but really nice style and paint.

Its a bit "Billety" but cool none the less. This is a pic of my fathers '66 LeSabre, pretty much the same as a wildcat, just less power.

and my favourite car, my Wildcat Custom Coupe. All stock, and original, but this car doesn't need modifications. But maybe an airride and Astros... hmmm.

This car is BEAUTIFUL! 65 Wildcat is the first car I remember riding in from my youth. The first recollection or awareness of what my parents drove. I can't tell you how many miles I spent curled up on the package tray watching the overp***es on the freeways go by. I WILL have one soon.

Nice cars! I'm working on a '65 Wildcat convertible for a customer. I need trunk floors, qtr patches panels, etc. Who carries sheetmetal parts for these cars? Is the '65 Lesabre sheetmetal the same as the Wildcat?

Quarter window? The small one in front, should be the same I think, but not the drivers door, or the rear window.
Maybe someone has it here www.v8buick.com
    or on ebay.

No ,your talking about the wing window. I'm talking about the window that is behind the door, that rolls down into the quarter panel, the back seat p***enger would control its operation. V8 buick couldn't help me. I already tried.

Oh yes, of course, I wasn't sure.
I do not think that these are the same ones....
Look at the Wildcat and the Electra. They have different roofs.
The Electra is more "square" and the Wildcat/Le Sabre roofs are more "fastbackish"

That's how it looks in my original '66 sales Brouchure.
Just make a pic from the side of u'rs and compare to the black one sideview.
    There u go.

Yeah, I think these cars rule! When I was a kid I had a model of one from a german toy company, and then I had a old german car magazine, there was a test of a '66. Then I knew, someday I will have one!:D

Wildcats are great cars. I guess Rivieras get most of the love though.
