Thanks again guys! When is the Fitchburg event? I remember attending an event in that area back in the late 90's with my last 55. It was held early Spring at a small airport.

So true about being caretakers for these old gems. I hope when I'm gone, someone and hopefully a friend, will be cruising and enjoying it. So fun to get out and use these old toys.

I'm in Litchfield over near Augusta. We have a cottage over your way on Cresent Lake in Raymond and spend quite a bit of time there after the ice goes out in August :). You should think about heading over this way some Thursday night to the cruise-in at Ainsles in Gardiner. John

That sound great. Would make for a nice ride. When out the way around the Causeway, have you seen the dark purple '47 Ford Pro-Street? A good friend of mine built it from a shell found in the woods. I'm sure we'll see each other this Summer.

No I haven't seen the 47 but sure will keep and eye out for it. With a car like yours you must be considering the nostalgic drag racing at Winterport and at Epping.

If you ever decide to take a ride over this way to Ainsles let me know. Its only about 4 miles from me. Your car would be an absolute hit at Anslies ....or anywhere for that matter. Your buddy got it right . John
