Got this stock 31 out of mountains in virginia.i will try an post a before pic....lol.....anyway it wasnt a running 4 banger...no doors .. just cowl an hood...got it home....changed oil...filled with fuel an put battery in it an started right up...lol i drove it for 2 years everywhere....until head lwak started....last year....thats when my bright ideas which always coast my dearly!!!! Money wise anyway...i never count my labor anymore unless its a side job lol....in a muscle car era guy my whole life...specifically 80 camaro...street;strip cars. I work with a very well known gentlemen on the east coast thats strictly into pre war brass era cars which over the years slowly curved my in interest to a earlier generation.....unfortunatly my budget doesnt allow that yet so here i am in love with this A build a lovin it....i am a metal fabricator with 20 years experience so labor isnt a issue...its the knowledge of that era parts swapping an keeping it traditional.....hope im doin it somewhat correct...im sure hambers will let me know lol....l So ive double z'd the frame boxed it up...added a 53 flatty...split front bones...added 36 tranny...(hard to find 39)...made crossmember an front motor mounts....just picked up a sport coupe steel body thanks to fellow hamb....very nice gentlemen in jersey...thanks again if your reading this.... an a nice a an d duel stromburg intake from another cali fellow hamber....i will try an post soome pics to show where im at....still need help from uou all on brakes an steering..... thanks everyone...
