Once again it's my pleasure as a member of the MHRA "Road Knights" to work the MHRA overnight security detail with a number of other dedicated fellow members and good friends,.....

*UPDATE* HERE IS A LINK TO 400 PICTURES
    .
Please note; Not all the pictures are HAMB Friendly..

The song that resonates in my mind all night is the old Five Satins and "The Still of the Night" ,... Yes it's cliche'.... But that's what I keep hearing as I take these pictures,... I'll post a few here and there because I'm extremely busy (And dead on my feet during the next few days)... After the show I'll try to post a lot.

The Detroit Autorama 2014 is shaping up to what looks like a very promising show !... If you can make it, By all means try...

Alright, While you all make your plans for the day, I'll be busy looking at the inside of my eye lids... G'night all

The Cookie Master's Olds parked next to a wannabe woody and a couple of mini bikes?! Say it ain't so.

I think we all appreciate the time and effort you guys put in. The world is a better place thanks to volunteers. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing. Love them all, but keep going back to the Willy's gasser. Dig the steelies with the front mags for some reason.

Hit the sack and slept like a rock !,... 36 hours in at Autorama in three days... Why did this seem easier several decade ago ?...

I first seen this car 42 years ago and have wanted it ever sense,.... Originally built by another friend of mine, "Dwight" back in the 50's. John has been its owner for many, many decades (although it's passed my ability to ever pony up the cabbage for it, John told me I could have first right of refusal on it back in the early 70's,... And to this day he still says, "If I ever sell it, You'll be my first call")...... It's a 33' with some 34' stuff on the front (Including a Nickle plated grill)...... Still love it after all these years,.. Was so happy to see it at Autorama.

More of the show to come,...............

  23. I was glad to see John's car too. Dwight has talked about it many times in the 40's I've known him but this was the first time I saw the car in person. I took a bunch of pictures of it Friday and emailed them to Dwight.

I believe she sold it over a year ago. It was nice to see it in person (I had never before) and check out the fat luckys interior

Harms way, thanks for taking the pics. I was there on Saturday and it was packed, almost impossible to take any decent shots.

  30. I thought Big Olds ended up in Australia, or was Denise just yankin' my chain?
