met a HAMBer and got my carbs

    Today was a good day. Took a day of vacation and drove upstate to pick up my carbs I was having rebuilt. while up that way stopped thru Greenville and Greer to meet fellow HAMBer Shane T and a local car build by the name of Greg Porter.. (he seems to have some cool project in the works).

    I am stoked that I have the carbs back home, already set them on the motor and got a chance to meet another friendly HAMBer.

    Here is a pic of my rebuilt carbs and two shots from Porters shop (you may remember his 55 gasser, black stude pu and red/brown chevy pick up from my Charlotte coverage.. (last year he had the gold plymouth coupe and two tone model A that was on the GG cover..)

    Yep it was a good day.......

    All in a days work. The motor looks great....keep us upto date with the progress.

  7. That's a badass Corvair!!! Seriously. I was thinking about one but I always thought they were too dorky but that takes the dorkiness out of it.

    I agree !!! I thought you only used the steering boxes . I like the carbs !!!!
