quick question for anyone who knows Buicks from the early '50s

    Just wondering if the front fenders, hood, etc. From a '53 Buick will fit onto a '50. I know anything is possible with enough time, money and skills.. I just thought one of you might know first hand how closely they would line up. Thanks in advance.

    1953 Buicks came in two basic bodies. You would have to match bodies, special to special or roadmaster to roadmaster. Other than that, look at Google images for the years you want to swap and eyeball it.

    First we need to know if the cars are Specials, Centurys, Supers or Roadmasters.

    The car's a Special and the '53 front end parts would also be from a Special. I can see from pictures that they look quite similar, but just cause they look similar doesn't mean they'll even come close to fitting.. I guess I was just hoping someone had tried it. Or maybe knew a guy who knew a guy who had..
