Edsel vin # help please.

Is the tag inside the drivers door with the ser# the same thing as its vin#?
If not, then where do I find the vin?

VIN didn't come out until 1981. Before that, cars were either ***led by the serial number tag on the body, or the engine block number, depending on the state. Most likely, the number on that serial number tag inside the door is the number that will be on the ***le.

Serial number aka "win" is located on driverside door post, and
same mumber is stamped on right frame rail near right exhaust manifold.
