Hey everyone I am on the lookout for some wheelcovers for my 1962 Mercury Comet. The previous owner put the Spacers from Moon on it but I think it looks a bit "to clean" if you know what I mean. I am thankful for Inputs and ideas! Maybe someone also knows WHERE to get some other ones... Thank you!
Yeah, I like those but I got 13" Wheels on mine. I have a set of very similar ones without the "Mercury" lettering on it. Maybe these were the original ones? I love the look but the set that I have is really messed up...
13" wheels are going to make it a bit more difficult. You might consider finding a set of 14's to open your options up some. I don't have a clue to how difficult that may or may not be in Switzerland though.
yes, maybe I have to consider that... 14" in Switzerland will be a little hard but I will have look when I am in California to find something. I appreciate your responses guys!
Full wheelcovers on the 13" wheels were pretty rare, and the 4-lug 14" wheels weren't all that common either. Try these guys.... http://www.hubcaps.org/comet.html
I have 4 of those for sale, but they are 14" If the 62 4 lug comet is the same as the 66 4 lug mustang, 14" wheels are easy to find, look under Datsun Z cars from the 70s.
