The chevy is a stick car and I am thinking about installing Line Lock to heat up the tires at the strip. The brakes are manual drums with a dual master cylinder. Any ideas on a kit or parts that I will need to do this? Thanks Jay

Just buy a line lock kit from Hurst or Jegs or anyone... instructions included... yes , they work fine on brum brake cars. "roll controls" were developed before most cars started using disc brakes, were used to help hold stick cars/trucks on a hill while stopped. Racers just found a better use for them :)

Yep, probably better with drum brakes since they really lock up being self energizing.

I usta run a fiat 600 with a Porsche 4 cylinder engine, I put 800 fiat drum brakes and a line lock on the front and it worked very well. I was running 11.20"s at 120 mph.--TV
